NEW MEXICO - Oct. 2009

** Gavin and his awesome Daddy-O sleeping on the plane!!**

New Mexico or BUST!

Corey and I took our family of 5 on our first BIG, flying vacation. We went to see Corey's brother Casey and his family in New Mexico. On our flight down we also had Corey's Mom Sandy and Papa John with us. The adults outnumbered the kids, that was good and helpful!!

Here we are in the Portland Airport. We are all excited and in good spirits.

We had some time for posing, due to the fact that Corey is stressed until we are through security, by our gate. We were at our gate 1 hr. 38 min. early. Can you say "TIME TO KILL?"

Our big boy Gabe was READY!!!

On the plane- Papa John and Gavin

Our kids got to walk between Ma'z and Papa John and Corey and myself. It was wonderful and the kids did AMAZING. Not even a fuss in 4 hrs.

WE MADE IT! Corey and Casey are definitely related. At times, they act a lot a like.
Here we are at a local park. Fun was had by all of the "Kids".

Enjoying our time together!

Boys will be BOYS!

Here we are another day at the zoo. The weather was AMAZING. 75 degrees everyday!!!

5 of the six cousins. My three boys: Gabriel, Gavin and Grant. Sarah and Casey's 3 Girls: Ruby, Claire and Haley. 6 kids, 4 yrs. and younger. One 4 yr old, Two 3 yr. olds, Three 1 yr. olds! With adults: 6 Guys, 6 Ladies. It was a recipe for FUN!!!

Group shot in the morning at the zoo!

This was too funny not to include. Every morning the kids got Ma'z beautiful. What a good grandma!

We also rode the RAILRUNNER from Los Lunas to the next small town, just for a train experience. It was 13 min. there, 6 min. wait, then 13 min. back. Perfect for young kiddos!

Gabe and Ruby became "Best Friends". They are both super sweet and thoughtful!

Here was our train!

Here is the whole group of us. LOTS of kids- SIX and an equal amount of adults!

The munchkins! Haley, Claire, Gavin, Grant, Gabe, and Ruby!

Our beloved Ma'z planned a tea party. She brought skirts for the moms, bowties for the men, ties for the little boys and glittery accessories for the girls. Sandy and John then planned our menu and made it such a special memory time!

Corey and I "all gussied up".

5 outta the 6 grandkids. Grant, Gav, Claire, Gabe, Ruby!

TIME TO FLY HOME: only this time without John or Corey to help.
Didn't go so smooth.

Gavin and Gabe, sure that we HAVE to be home by now!

Am I smiling? I didn't feel like it- but then we FINALLY landed! Praise God.
And honestly, it was one of the best trips I have ever been on.
Thank God for family!!
